Course Agreement
This Online Course Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Ashley Acle MFT (“Provider”) and the student (“Student”) engaging in the Provider’s online course(s).
Effective Date: June 1, 2025.
Course Enrollment and Access
- Upon successful registration and payment, the Student will be granted access to the selected online course(s).
- Access to the course materials is typically provided for a limited duration. Self-paced courses do not have a structured start date, which means the Student may begin at any time. Whether or not the course has been completed, it will expire 9 months after purchase.
- At the completion of the selected online course(s) and passing the required assignments/quizzes, the Student will receive a certificate evidencing participation and completion of the selected online course(s)..
- The Student is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary hardware, software, and internet connectivity to access the course.
Payment Terms
- All course fees are due and payable at the time of enrollment, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- The Provider reserves the right to change course fees at any time, but such changes will not affect courses already purchased.
- Refund policies, if any, will be clearly outlined on the Provider’s website or during the enrollment process.
- It is the responsibility of the Student to ensure the accuracy of billing information provided, including credit card, billing address, and other payment information. Providing false or inaccurate information, or using the selected course(s) or website to further fraud or unlawful activity is grounds for immediate termination of this agreement.
Intellectual Property
- All course content, including but not limited to videos, text, images, exercises, and any supplementary materials, are the exclusive intellectual property of the Provider or its licensors.
- The Student is granted a non-exclusive, limited, non-transferable and revocable license to access and use the course content in connection with your participation in the course(s) for educational purposes only.
- The Student agrees not to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the course material without the prior written consent of the Provider.
Student Conduct
- The Student agrees to register for the selected course(s), choosing a user identifier and password that abide by professional codes of conduct. Additionally, the Student may be required to provide personal information, which they are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of.
- The Student agrees to engage in respectful and appropriate behavior within any course forums, discussion boards, or interactive sessions.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive language towards other students or instructors will not be tolerated.
- The Student agrees not to share their login credentials with any third party.
- If the Provider suspects that course material(s) or the selected course(s) are being shared and/or that the Student’s log-in information has been shared with any party, the Provider reserves the right to immediately terminate Student’s access to the selected course(s), in their sole and exclusive discretion.
Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Provider makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the course(s) content.
- The Provider does not offer any promises or guarantees with regard to selected course(s) or course(s) materials. The Student hereby acknowledges and agrees:
- The Student is solely and exclusively responsible for the choices they make with regard to the selected course(s), the materials contained within it, or any significant changes to their business or life;
- The Student is solely and exclusively responsible for their own mental health, physical health, clinical practices, business decisions, and any other actions or inactions they choose to take;
- The Provider is not liable for any result or non-result or any consequence which may come about due to Student’s participation in the selected course(s);
- The selected course(s) do not constitute a therapeutic relationship, a supervisory relationship, a consulting relationship or a medical one. Provider does not provide therapy or medical services through the selected course(s) and the Student is responsible for procuring these services at their own will and discretion if needed
- The course is provided “as is” and “as available” without any guarantees of specific outcomes or results.
Limitation of Liability
- In no event shall the Provider be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Student’s use of the course.
Termination
- The Provider reserves the right to terminate the Student’s access to the course at any time, without prior notice, if the Student breaches any terms of this Agreement.
Governing Law
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
Entire Agreement
- This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Student and the Provider regarding the online course(s) and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral.
By enrolling in and accessing the online course, the Student acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
If the Student does not agree to be bound by this agreement, they must cease participation in the selected course(s) immediately. If doing so after purchase, the Student will not be entitled to any refund. The Provider agrees to provide the selected course(s) to Student if they assent to these agreements, policies and terms.
